My name is Maurizio (Maurice) Campolucci. I am the owner of Camp-Maur Racing and Stallion Motorsports Inc. I have been competing in IHRA Super Rod & NHRA Super Gas with my 1996 Grand Prix since 1993 and drag racing since 1974.I started drag racing when I was 17 years old with my father’s 1970 GTO,E.T. 14.80. At 18 years old, I purchased my own 1974 GTO, E.T. 13.30 and owned it for nine years. In 1984 I purchased my first racecar, a 1967 Firebird, E.T. 10:97. In 1985 I purchased my first real fast race car, a 1977 Pontiac Astre, E.T. 9:76 at 135 mph. In 1992 I had a 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix built and when it was completed, I went to my first race in February 1993 at Dallas, Texas. In March 1993, I placed the car in Performance World Custom Car Show, one of Canada’s largest shows, and the car won five awards.That summer the car ran 9:23 at 146 mph. In August 1995, I won my first race. 2006-Run more Top Sportsman - Super Comp - Quick Rod. National & Divisional Events.
